Dancing robotic spider video goes viral

This is an interesting story that I watched at Reuters Technology and has gone viral.

Video shows a spider-like dancing robot performing an aerobic exercise routine, folding itself up and climbing stairs.

Robotics is usually not considered affordable or fun for that matter, but this is changing fast as more and more innovators are focusing on humancentric applications.

Think about this for a few seconds, a dancing robot made you smile instead of cat video.

If technologies such as this becomes more and more common, it will drive lower costs, making tech more mainstream.

Last but not the least, success of any product depends on the mass adoption, and until and unless small businesses don’t find inroads – the success of any product remains questionable. It seems that robotics is fast becoming both mainstream and affordable.
