Why Google blocks gender pronouns from AI tool

Google AI will exclude gender pronouns

Artificial Intelligence or AI as it is more commonly known, is fast becoming a daily use technology, and as such has implications that are normally not thought of at the time of development.

This interesting story that I saw, says that fearful of bias, Google blocks gender-based pronouns from its new artificial intelligence feature in Gmail called Smart Compose.

Latest Tech is usually considered as disconnected from real life, but this is changing fast as more and more organization are concentrating on UX.

The more technologies like these become mainstream, it will drive lower costs, making tech more mainstream.

Good is marketing its AI tools and functionality very aggressively, and it will be interesting to see how they intend to monetize it.

Last but not the least, while many new tech initiatives and products are increasingly targeted towards small businesses, yet more still needs to be done. Unless a technology truly gets adopted by the masses and most importantly by small businesses it is difficult to claim it to be mainstream.

It is fascinating how technology is evolving and impacting our lives.

I try to post and similar stories on my website, one for referencing back when you are writing something, and two to share with everyone.
